Wide receiver Mike Williams with redskins jersey wanted to make one point emphatically clear.
“I didn’t quit,” Williams said today at the NFL scouting combine. ”I just want everybody to know I didn’t quit.” Williams’ mysterious departure from the Syracuse football team has been cloaked in relative secrecy. According to a league source, Williams had a serious falling-out with coach Doug Marrone that ended his tenure with the Orangemen. Wiliams declined to elaborate on the reasons why he didn’t complete his career at Syracuse, but said he’s been honest and forthright with NFL teams.
"I’ve been talking to all the NFL teams about that, I want to leave it at that," Williams said. "I want everybody to know is I didn’t quit. I’ll leave that story at that. All the teams know the whole story. I don’t want to make it a big media story."

Okung is unforgettable
Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung has wore many kinds of NFL jerseys.
He’s routinely linked to the Washington Redskins’ fourth overall selection, the Kansas City Chiefs’ fifth pick and the Oakland Raiders’ eighth overall selection. As valuable as quarterbacks are in this increasingly passing-driven league, so, too, are the men paid to protect the blindside of the most important players on the field: left tackles. "My best way to do things is be honest,” said Okung. "Be up ront. Be up front with the coaches and the GM. If you’re their type of player, you’re their type of player.”
“I don’t recall any bad plays, if you catch my drift," Okung said. "I never really recall any bad plays. I just don’t talk about ‘em. Don’t speak them into existence."

Browns, former GM resolve the matter
Fired Cleveland Browns general manager George Kokinis uncoverd his dissatisfaction with the team on Wednesday.
The terms were confidential. Kokinis was dismissed by the Browns on Nov. 2. He was seeking more than $4 million in compensation and damages. Kokinis, who previously worked in Baltimore, claimed the Browns fraudulently induced him to join the team under the representation that he would have control over all player personnel matters and report directly to owner Randy Lerner. After Kokins' dismissal, the Browns sought to show his firing was "for cause".
Kokinis though it was not his fault. I wonder to know how the players with browns jerseys though about their former coach.

Bulluck may leave Tennessee
Keith Bulluck seems took off his titans jersey and his time in Nashville is coming to an end.
The veteran Tennessee Titans linebacker’s contract is up. He’s recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. And he’s convinced that the Titans won’t be signing him to a new deal. So, he told the Tennessean that he’s pretty sure he’s played his final down in a Titans uniform. “I think so,’’ Bulluck said.. “I would like to stay here for sure, but I think so. It sure seems that way.’’Bulluck said he hasn’t heard from the Titans since the season ended. He joked that perhaps the Titans are already at the NFL scouting combine looking for his replacement. Bulluck emphasized that he’s not angry with the Titans, though. He understands that this is part of the business.“I have seen guys who have been figureheads here being released,’’ Bulluck said. “I prepared myself over the years for this, because I knew at some point my time would come. My time is here now.

Chargers release LT
Due to injuries and age, LaDainian Tomlinson had to say goodbye to his chargers jersey.
On Monday, he was released by the San Diego Chargers, a franchise he helped revive with a brilliant nine-year run in which he became one of the NFL’s greatest running backs. “I told him that in the 26 years that I’ve been in this business, it was probably the hardest thing I’ve had to do,” Spanos told The Associated Press. “I’m not close to a lot of the players, but there’s a handful that I’ve been close with, and he’s probably the closest. It was really difficult to tell him. But out of respect, I wanted to tell him earlier rather than later.”
He has been the heart and soul of the team all those years.

LeFevour will not throw at combine
The rumors said some players will be throwed at the scouting combine. But Dan LeFevour said he will not throw in to wear colts jersey.
“I will focus solely on throwing at pro day,” LeFevour said. “Just getting focused with that…only having one thing to do on Pro Day and being able to work with my receivers up at school that are coming out. Putting everything I have into that aspect of it.” “As a quarterback you look forward to the whole experience, not just one aspect of it,” LeFevour said of the combine. “You have to be well-rounded enough to handle it all. I’m looking to soak in everything that’s going to come at me.”
LeFevour said his decision was not based on others.

McGahee remains in backfield
It is no doubt that Willis McGahee with ravens jersey was the secondary option to Ray Ricein the backfield, but the team has no intention od cutting him loose.
As a team that has taken a run-heavy approach while quarterback Joe Flacco develops, the Ravens know it's imperative to have numerous options in the backfield. McGahee spotted Rice and was a key component in the red zone, scoring 12 touchdowns and averaging an impressive 5 yards per carry.
The Ravens also remain hopeful that Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed will return next season.

Jamal failed physical
Jamal Lewis will say goodbye to the browns jersey and his former owner stopped the contract this week and no reason was offered.

There was one year left on his contract which worths a $1.5 million bonus and a $2.4 million base salary in 2010.
"My teammates, the fans, and the community were great," Lewis said. "I plan to evaluate my future and have not made a final determination on whether I will be playing football next season."

Stoudemire staying with Suns
It is certain that Stoudemire will be stayed on the roster of the Suns. He will wear the suns jersey this season.
All-Star starter Stoudemire can opt out of the final year of his contract worth $17.7 million next season, and the Suns will have nothing but a little extra money to spend next summer. Kerr said he had maintained that unless there was something out there that improved their team and put them in a lot better position moving forward, then they were not going to do anything. And that was the case.
Stoudemire likes the team and he will go 110 percent.

Felton leads Bobcats win over Wizards
Raymond Felton with bobcats jersey said “I wasn’t even thinking about my ankle at the time. I was just thinking about trying to win the game, whatever it took,” Felton said, seconds after he limped across the locker room. “But I’m paying for it now.”
“I was just trying to attack and get inside the lane,” Felton said. “Randy Foye did a good job of cutting me off, so I just tried to make a move to separate away from him. I got some space and I took the shot.”
Coach Larry Brown said they really needed it and they had Michael and Mr.Johnson in the stands.

Bobcats C Chandler will return
Tyson Chandler with bobcats jersey arrived in Charlotte recovering from ankle and toe surgery. After slogging through the first third of the season with unimpressive results, he was shelved again with a stress reaction in his left foot.
“Under normal circumstances I would always start a guy who’s been your starter,” Bobcats coach Larry Brown said. “But I don’t think this is normal circumstances because he hasn’t had a lot of time on the floor. But let’s hope he can come back (Tuesday). It’s a nice problem to have.”
But when he returns, it won't be as a stater, at least not right away.

Brandon Bass is frustrated
Forward Brandon Bass with magic jersey is worried about his situation in Orlando.
"I felt in my heart this was the right place for me,” Bass said Thursday after practice. "When I signed, it just felt right – but it’s not going right, (right) now. I’m not playing, and that’s bad.”"Do I want to stay here?” Bass repeated the question. "If they feel I could help here, sooner than later, then I would love to stay here. But if nothing changes, then that means I can’t help the team, that they don’t want me here, then maybe I have to do what’s best for me.”
Bass may go to the end unhappy.

Hill lead Spurs
George Hill with No.3 spurs jersey has created a really different maker for the team though he was still a guard rookie one year ago.
Filling in admirably for the injured Tony Parker, Hill tied a career high with 23 points, had a career-high nine assists, and hit four free throws in the final 6.5 seconds to help the Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings 115-113 on Wednesday night. “He has really developed this year and come on so quickly,” Duncan said. “He’s a real threat for us and is one of our best perimeter defenders. We expect a lot from him now.”
“I don’t know what it is,” Evans said. “We go out and play hard but at the end of the game we just don’t find a way to pull it out. Our execution is terrible.”

Miller scores 52 points
Andre Miller with No.24 trail blazers jersey got a career-high 52 points which includes 25 in the fourth quarter and overtime.
On Portland’s second possession of the game, Miller’s 15-foot jumper missed the rim the completely and hit the backboard. That was one of his few misfires as Miller finished 22 of 31 from the floor and 7 of 8 from the foul line. I just wanted to stay aggressive,” Miller said. “I didn’t look at it as scoring the ball, but just going out and making plays and being the point guard. The shots came and since they were going in, I kept shooting.”
“I had a good look at the game winner off the spin move,” Nowitzki said. “That’s a shot I’ve got to make. In overtime it was the same thing. It’s definitely a tough one to swallow.”
