Romo and Favre will head to head

It is so challenge and excited to play the game. Tony Romo with the dallas cowboys jersey is heading into a game against his boyhood hero, Brett Favre.

“I think any time you’re playing in this type of game, it’s going to be special,” Romo said Thursday. “I like Brett. He’s fun to hang out with and talk to and stuff. I think we’re both going to be trying to win this game, for sure.” Romo has done a good job this season with his own style not the Favre-like tendencies. Romo grew up in Burlington that is the time when Favre was in his prime careerwith the Green Bay Packers. The they had been good friends in 2006.

Favre will do when he thinks it's a healthy chance. So does Romo.

Garcon concerns about family in quake-hit Haiti

Pierre Garcon's charming smile was gone instead of worries about Haiti's fatal earthquake and the fate of his relatives who live near the capital city of Port-Au-Prince.

"Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. We still have not heard much from them, and my mom is still trying to call them," Garcon said, according to The Associated Press. "I'm keeping in contact with my mom. It's tough to get in touch with people down there because of the phone lines." This second year player with No.85 colts jersey was born in the USA, but most of his relatives still stay in the Caribbean nation.

Because of the destroy of the quake, keep in touch with hit area is hard. God bless them.

Bodin may available for Saturday's game

Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin helt much better and he was confident about playing in NFC divisional playoff game at New Orleans on Saturday.

He could not move around a little bit since he hurt his left ankle and knee during the Jan.3 regular-season against the Green Bay Packers. His injuries made thei three time Pro Bowl receiver sit out Sunday's victory over the Packers. Boldin was expected to practicing Wednesday or Thursday. "It all depends on how it responds," he said. "I was able to do a lot of lateral drills today. It still doesn't feel as good as I would like it to be, but it's definitely an improvement."

Bodin wore the No.81 ardinals jersey.

Super Bowl ad prices fall

The economic depression seems to have taken a blow on Super Bowl ads, forcing the price down for the second time in the game's history, but they're still the most expensive.

While early readings suggest there are better deals this year over last, Pepsi won’t advertise its drinks for the first time in 23 seasons, joining FedEx and GM, who dropped out last year. In their absence, newcomers and smaller companies have snatched up slots in advertising’s biggest showcase. We can see the detailed figures after the Super Bowlairs on 7th Feb. CBS spokesman Dana McClintock said they don’t calculate average price because it’s not how they manage the business, but they’re confident that if they did it would be higher than last year.

Above all, it influence little to those players with NFL jerseys.

Mac Duff may step into 49ers

San Francisco 49ers coach Mike Singletary has met Larry Mac Duff. The coach is chosing a special teams coordinator now.

San Francisco did not want to resign Al Everest who took the position from Mac Duff in 2007. Singletary really hope upgrade the team in the offseason. The unit was last in the NFL in average punt return yardage. Mac Duff, 61, went from the 49ers to co-defensive coordinator at Texas for one season in 2007 and most recently was defensive coordinator for the Las Vegas franchise of the United Football League. The team wouldn't respond it on Friday. I love 49ers jerseys and I support the coach.

Redskins sign Shanahan with a five year contract

Dan Snyder was decisive this time. After the experience of exhausting the whole list of candidates and settling for a novice who yielded little power, the Washington Redskins' owner uesd one day to choose his target:Mike Shanahan, who was respected for two Super Bowl rings and a reputation for wanting the final say.

Skins' terrible season will have a change Wednesday when Shanahan is nominated as coach at a 2 p.m. According to the team's Web site, Shanahan signed his contact Tuesday and the conference will be on live on NFL.com and also air on NFL Network. Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall said they needed a guy like Mike Shanahan and they needed a proven leader, a proven winner. He's definitely going to get these guys motivated and get the most out of all of them. The decision almost came out just after 48 hours when they fired Jim Zorn.

Above all, the players with redskins jerseys expect some changes.

Smith will be back as the starter

Alex Smith has been San Francisco's starting quarterback in 10 games this season and he awards the job going on for the 49ers.

Though they ended with a disappointing 8-8 finish, Coach Mike Singletary had good comment on him and said he saw "steady progress" from Smith and that he would remain the starter heading into the offseason. "I don't think it's a matter of another coordinator," Singletary said. "I think it's a matter of putting the pieces together, identifying exactly the offense that you're going to run, identifying the kind of offensive line that you need in order to run that. I think we have a lot of pieces in place. I just think it's a matter of getting all the pieces in the right places." The details of the evaluation process will be cleared after they talked with the other coaches.

I expect to watch Smith running on the field with 49ers jersey.

Brees will sit and watch

Almost everyone wants to see the No.9 saints jersey, but Dree Brees will have a rest this weekend, likely keeping his NFL-record completion percentage unchanged.

Coach Sean Payton is clear that to put Mark Brunell in place of his star QB in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Carolina Panthers. Brees' completion mark of 70.60 percent will break the record of 70.55 set by Ken Anderson with the Cincinnati Bengals in 1982 if he does not play. "When I was a rookie quarterback in San Diego, I looked up all the records," he said Thursday. "I just wanted to know, you know? So I knew them all by heart there for a while." Obviously, this star player was concerned with the record.

Brees said he would try his best to help the team.
